Immigration rules relaxed for care workers

Immigration rules have been relaxed for care workers after a recommendation from experts appointed by the Government.

The Government said care staff would be made eligible for special visas and put on the shortage occupation list in response to pandemic pressures following a recommendation from its migration advisory committee (MAC).
