Kent warned over SEND deficit

Members of Kent CC have been warned that the high needs budget deficit will exceed Government limits within a year.

Officers reported to the council’s scrutiny committee that the budget overspend currently stands at £5.7m and is expected to reach £14m by the end of 2019/20.
