LGA members accuse CIPFA of 'mission overreach'

Proposed changes to finance rules have provoked anger from the Local Government Association (LGA).

Councillors accused the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) of ‘mission overreach’ in its tightening of the code for property investments.
