Lack of ‘clarity’ hampering child protection

A lack of ‘clarity’ among local services over their roles is hampering child protection, watchdogs have told peers.

Improvements in multi-agency leadership locally and cross-government strategy nationally are required, Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission told an inquiry into vulnerable children by the House of Lords Public Services Committee.
