Cllr Joe Harris has been elected leader of the Lib Dem group at the Local Government Association (LGA).
Cllr Harris has been the leader of Cotswold DC since 2019 and also holds a seat on Gloucestershire CC.
He takes over from Oldham MBC's Cllr Howard Sykes, who had held the role since 2017.
