More joined up approach is needed from central Government to tackle county lines

Central Government departments work in silos on tackling serious violence and county lines and need to work together ‘in a more smart way’, says a council expert.

Violence and Vulnerability Unit and Community Safety Manager at Southend BC Simon Ford told delegates at a workshop session at today’s LGA conference in Bournemouth that ‘going up to the top level of Government, they very much work in silos’.
