Central Government departments work in silos on tackling serious violence and county lines and need to work together ‘in a more smart way', says a council expert.

Violence and Vulnerability Unit and Community Safety Manager at Southend BC Simon Ford told delegates at a workshop session at today's LGA conference in Bournemouth that ‘going up to the top level of Government, they very much work in silos'.
