Ofsted changes ‘do not go far enough’

Proposed changes to Ofsted inspections of children’s services do not go far enough, council chiefs have said.

A consultation by Ofsted, which closed this week, asked for comments on proposals for the future of inspection, which will influence the inspectorate’s review of its improvement offer to local authorities.
