Proposed changes to Ofsted inspections of children’s services do not go far enough, council chiefs have said.

Proposed changes to Ofsted inspections of children's services do not go far enough, council chiefs have said.

A consultation by Ofsted, which closed this week, asked for comments on proposals for the future of inspection, which will influence the inspectorate's review of its improvement offer to local authorities.
