Ofsted chief warns councils of county lines complacency

Some councils are underestimating the extent of the threat posed by county lines operations to children, the head of a watchdog has warned.

Ofsted’s chief inspector, Amanda Spielman, unveiled the findings of a report into the issue in a speech at the National Children and Adults Services conference in Manchester today.
