One person's story isn't the whole picture

To what do you attribute the success of collaborations? Maybe we should not put too much emphasis on individual accounts and look at things in the round, says Blair Mcpherson.

?How they made that hit record. Two different accounts of the same blind date. The introduction of the sweeper role. A successful local authority /NHS project for people with dementia. What do these have in common and what do they tell us that can be applied to collaborations and business partnerships?

The creative process is hard to pin down. Take a successful record and interview those involved in producing it. There is the songwriter's account, the record producer's version and the keyboard player's claim to have come up with the all-important catchy bit.
