Planning reforms will ‘erode public participation’

MPs have warned the role of councils and the public in planning are under threat from the Government’s proposed overhaul of the planning system.

Chair of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee, Clive Betts, has written to secretary of state Michael Gove to raise ‘a series of concerns’ regarding the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill.
