WLGA chief executive to retire after 30 years’ service

The chief executive of the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA), Steve Thomas, has announced his retirement.

Mr Thomas, who was awarded a CBE in 2010 for services to local government, has worked in local government for three decades, including 15 years in his current role.
