Walsall's £29m savings plan suffers delays

A council’s flagship £28.9m savings programme has been hit by delays as COVID-19 continues to take its financial toll on the sector.

Walsall MBC’s multi-million pound savings plan is one of the most ambitious in the country, amounting to almost 22% of its annual net revenue budget.
