Watchdog urges faster improvement at Argyll and Bute

Argyll and Bute Council has been told it must ‘significantly increase the pace and depth’ of improvement by the Accounts Commission.

The watchdog for Scottish councils said progress has been made in recent years and short-term financial balance has been achieved in a Best Value Assurance report published today.
