A major capital investment programme – claimed to be one of the most ambitious in Scotland – is being carried out in Aberdeenshire to bring new facilities to local communities and improve local infrastructure. Allan Whyte reports.

Aberdeenshire Council will spend £400m over four years on a programme of works including state-of-the-art leisure facilities, innovative care homes and new schools with incorporated community facilities.
