We are in a busy period of set-piece government announcements which will have significant implications for councils.

Last week, His Majesty the King, set out the Government's legislative agenda for the 2023-24 Parliamentary session, including proposed legislation on smoking and vaping, supporting renters, automated vehicles, terrorism and football governance. We now want to work with Government and parliamentarians in both Houses, to help ensure this parliamentary session delivers for local people, places and communities.
