It is ‘simply not acceptable' that age disputed young people from asylum hotels are treated as spontaneous arrivals, says the head of England's directors of children's services.

Speaking at the Association of Directors of Children's Services (ADCS) conference in Manchester today, president John Pearce said some aspects of the current system ‘need urgent change'.
