Making sure accountancy stays rewarding and exciting

'Technology and social value are with us now, but we are reacting, not leading. We need to start planning to use it to retain and attract talent', says Michael Hudson.

Our profession is losing staff due to negative factors such as continued shortages in funds or disillusionment in accounts, but there are exciting changes in our world where we can make a difference to people's lives.

I want to concentrate on the positives and how we can prepare for a bright future.
