London mayor Boris Johnson has implemented a package of measures from his air quality strategy to cut pollution in the capital, amid claims the city's efforts lag behind others in Europe.

Large vans and minibuses now fall under the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) meaning they must meet Euro 3 emissions standards or face a £100 daily charge for driving through Greater London.
