ADCS chief vows to establish nationwide 'excellent practice'

Incoming president Alan Wood has pledged to ensure consistently ‘excellent practice’ around the country.

The new president of the Association of Director's of Children's Services has pledged to ensure consistently ‘excellent practice' around the country.

Hackney LBC's director of children's services, Alan Wood, became the new president on 1 April, replacing Stockport MBC's corporate director for services, Andrew Webb.

Kirklees MBC's director for children and adults, Alison O'Sullivan has replaced Mr Wood as vice president.
