One of the UK's most prominent directors of children's services is to move to Ofsted as one of the new regional inspectors.

Debbie, Jones, director of children and young people services for Lambeth LBC, is to become Ofsted regional director for London leaving Lambeth in September this year. Ms Jones has also been president of the Association of Directors of Children's Services since April 2012.
