Adjudication panel bans councillor for second time

Former councillor Christopher Jarvis has been disqualified from office for a second time.

The independent Adjudication Panel for England disqualified the ex-Hull City councillor from office for 12 months, after deciding he had repeatedly broken the code of conduct by being aggressively disruptive. In September 2006, Mr Jarvis was disqualified for 15 months by a tribunal for bullying and threatening an officer of the council and failing to repay significant debts to the council.
