The new care minister Norman Lamb has pledged the Government ‘must do Dilnot' and reform the social care funding system.

Addressing the National Children and Adult Services Conference on 26 October, Norman Lamb told delegates the Government ‘must reach a settlement for this [social care funding] soon' and said the case for reforming the current system was ‘overwhelming'.
