Spending on adult social care has fallen for the third year running, according to the latest survey of town hall bosses.

The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services' (ADASS) fifth annual budget survey reported total spending in adult social care would decrease by a further 1.9% in 2014-15 to £13.68bn.
