In an increasingly digital world, more local authority services are moving online, reducing costs and increasing efficiency – as well as providing better services for local residents.

For individuals who use the internet, including many older people, this can make access quicker, easier and cheaper. However, there is a stark difference in internet use between the youngest and oldest age groups.
