Cabinet Office minister Matthew Hancock has praised local government contractor Agilisys for becoming an employee-owned mutual.

The IT and business services firm has become one of the largest companies in the UK to adopt the new employee ownership trust model, which is similar to the one used by other mutuals, such as John Lewis.
