Airport disposal cleared for take off

The sale of Leeds Bradford International Airport is ready to take-off, after being given the all-clear by Bradford City Council.

The airport is jointly owned by Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield city councils, and Calderdale and Kirklees MBCs. Bradford became the final council to agree to sell its shares at a council meeting last Thursday (5 October). Kirklees agreed to sell at a meeting the previous evening.
