The leader of Manchester City Council has pledged to use a £11m windfall from the Manchester Airport Group to offset the impact of spending cuts.

The leader of Manchester City Council has pledged to use a £11m windfall from the Manchester Airport Group to offset the impact of spending cuts.

The group announced an interim dividend of £31m on 9 December following strong financial results during the six months to 30 September.
