'Ambitious' devolution plan backed by Whitehall

An ‘ambitious’ five year plan for health and social care in Greater Manchester has been backed by Whitehall and NHS England.

An ‘ambitious' five year plan for health and social care in Greater Manchester has been backed by Whitehall and NHS England.

The announcement came a day after confirmation that the region would receive £450m of transformation funding from NHS England to ‘help towards creating a sustainable and successful health and social care system by 2021'.
