Angela Leitch named as new East Lothian chief

Angela Leitch has been selected as the East Lothian Council’s preferred candidate for the post of chief executive.

East Lothian Council has announced that Angela Leitch has been selected as the local authority's preferred candidate for the post of chief executive.

Ms Leitch joins the council from Clackmannanshire Council, where she has held the post of chief executive since February 2009. She will replace East Lothian's current chief executive, Alan Blackie, who is due to retire in August.
