The London Assembly has called for a 4% pay rise for City Hall staff earning less than £23,000.

Members have voted unanimously in favour of a motion calling on Greater London Authority chief executive, Leo Boland, to award the increase to 58 staff, which would cost the GLA an extra £50,000.
