Assessing risk to your reputation

Reputation is frequently cited as a risk on change programmes. We worry about how people perceive our organisation or us as individuals. So we may choose to take or not take actions accordingly.

But it can be hard to measure such risk. Gathering information about how others perceive us is fraught with difficulties. One is often forced to resort to self-assessment: how do we believe that others will perceive us as a result of what we have done or might yet do?
