Staffordshire Police Authority has announced the appointment of Julian Blazeby as assistant chief constable.

Mr Blazeby was selected from a strong field of candidates following a rigorous selection process undertaken by the police authority, which included a session with a community panel made up of representatives from the joint authority and force citizen's panel.
