Assistant Director Children and Young People's Services

37 hours per week.

Based in Weston-super-Mare. North Somerset is a highly successful unitary authority providing some of the best performing children and young people's services in the South West.

We are seeking candidates who will strive to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people and a strong contribution to the success of the whole council.

You will play a significant role in the leadership of the Children and Young People's Directorate and should be a natural and highly effective team player.

You will bring dynamism and enthusiasm and your leadership will ensure successful partnerships inside and outside the council.

You must be able to establish credibility with a range of professionals who work with families and have a passion for continuous improvement in a context of reduced resources.
