We are currently recruiting an Assistant Director to work alongside all learning providers and other relevant stakeholders to secureand improve our current performance in education, learning and skills and to support our commitment to achievement for every child and young person in Leicestershire.

We are looking for a natural leader who is not daunted by the current turbulent education and learning environment , and who can work as part of an ambitious senior leadership team in the Children and Family Services department.

The role requires you to be able to stand back from day to day activities and see the whole, focusing on major goals and strategies.

You will need a good understanding of partnership working, a clear vision of success, a passion for significant challenges, and a track record of delivering lasting and innovative results within children's services.
