Assistant Director (Operations) – Adult Social Care

You're not someone who talks about change. You're someone who can drive change. And in this newly-created highly visible role, you'll help us improve outcomes for adults across the Borough.

Managing a £60m budget, your remit will be to drive performance – embedding the systems and processes needed to support the transformation of adult social care. You'll use your experience and expertise to develop new and different ways of working. You'll build on what we've achieved so far and keep us moving forward. And, because you're a hands-on leader, you'll work closely with your team and understand what they need to embrace cultural change and perform at their best. Together you'll deliver real outcomes for Wandsworth's vulnerable people and their carers.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Dawn Warwick, Director of Adult Social Services on 020 8871 6291. To find out more or to apply, please go to our website.

Closing date: 28 November 2011.

We are keen to encourage disabled people, women, black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates to apply for senior posts in which they are under-represented.

Appointment subject to CRB Disclosure check.
