Council chiefs have urged residents to have the ‘safe and effective’ AstraZeneca jab amid an investigation into the possibility of a link with blood clots.

Council chiefs have urged residents to have the ‘safe and effective' AstraZeneca jab amid an investigation into the possibility of a link with blood clots.

There have been 37 reports of potentially serious blood clots out of 17 million doses given to people across the EU.
