The UK boss of international engineering firm Atkins has called for the Government to appoint an infrastructure minister at cabinet level.

The UK boss of international engineering firm Atkins has called for the Government to appoint an infrastructure minister at cabinet level.

Speaking to The MJ, David Tonkin, who is the chief executive of the firm's British and European division, said a cabinet-level appointment would reinforce the importance of infrastructure in helping to spur economic growth.
