Audit Commission launches fraud study

The Audit Commission is today launching its annual nationwide survey of public sector fraud and corruption.

The Audit Commission is today launching its annual nationwide survey of public sector fraud and corruption, with 480 public bodies expected to take part.

The survey covers the 2011/12 financial year and is the only national survey of its kind in the public sector, collecting information on a range of fraud and corruption issues - including housing tenancy and procurement fraud.
