Welsh councils could improve efficiency and support business with stronger leadership an integrated IT strategies, a report claims.

The Wales Audit Office report has urged Welsh town halls to focus on long-term links with central government if they are to reap the benefits of sustained technological savings. It argued that regional plans to promote collaboration and drive improvement had not united with national strategies.
