Councils need to build 1,600 new schools in the next nine years to cope with rising demand, according to new research by the Scape Group.

Councils need to build 1,600 new schools in the next nine years to cope with rising demand, according to new research by the Scape Group.

According to the information published by the local authority-owned company, a new school will have to be built every two days to help meet the shortfall.
