A £1bn fund to help local authorities build homes on their own land will complement the new generation of council housing companies, according to Kier.

A £1bn fund to help local authorities build homes on their own land will complement the new generation of council housing companies, according to Kier.

The New Communities Partnership fund was launched last week by Kier Living, Cheyne Capital and Housing Growth Partnership, and aims to build 10,000 new homes across the country.
