Ten local authorities in Greater Manchester will receive £36m after the Manchester Airport Group saw ‘record-breaking' passenger numbers over the last six months.


The Manchester Airport Group (MAG) owns and operates Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports. It is owned by Manchester City Council (35.5%), nine other councils (29%), including Bolton, Trafford and Wigan, as well as IFM Investors.
