Authorities unite to celebrate winning £335m engine plant

West Midlands councils are celebrating Jaguar Land Rover’s decision to build a new plant in the Black Country Enterprise Zone.

Three West Midlands councils have united in celebration at Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) decision to invest £355m building its new engine plant within the Black Country Enterprise Zone, creating 750 direct jobs.

Staffordshire CC, Wolverhampton City Council and South Staffordshire DC made a joint pitch to JLR, owned by Indian firm, Tata, promoting the benefits of the site.
