Taunton Deane BC will cut loose its financially ‘unsustainable’ partner, West Somerset DC, if the Government rejects their bid to form a new council, the joint chief executive has warned.

Taunton Deane BC will cut loose its financially ‘unsustainable' partner, West Somerset DC, if the Government rejects their bid to form a new council, the joint chief executive has warned.

The two councils agreed to share a senior management team and services in 2013 after the Local Government Association deemed West Somerset financially unviable.
