Authority's green light to double size of MediaCityUK

Salford City Council has given the green light to plans to double the size of MediaCityUK in a bid to create hundreds of new jobs.

Salford City Council has given the green light to plans to double the size of MediaCityUK in a bid to create hundreds of new jobs.

Council planners have granted permission for up to 10 new buildings in the area, which is already home to the BBC, ITV and a variety of hotels, bars and restaurants.
