Authority inches towards housebuilding deal

Members of Basildon DC will meet tonight to finalise its plans to form their own house-building company.

Members of Basildon DC meet today (4 December) to finalise its plans to form their own house-building company.

The local authority's cabinet is expected to approve the plans to create Sempra Homes, which will initially aim to build 100 new homes in the borough.
