A debt of almost £300,000 will be written off by Blackpool Council following the collapse of a local authority firm.

A debt of almost £300,000 will be written off by Blackpool Council following the collapse of a local authority firm.

Blackpool's executive this week agreed to halt attempts to recover £296,939 of a loan paid to the Via Partnership – owned by Blackpool, Lancashire CC and Blackburn with Darwen Council – after the company entered administration.
