Chancellor George Osborne unveiled a 'revolution in infrastructure financing' under the Treasury's remodelled private finance initiative (PFI), in his Autumn Statement today.

Dubbed PF2 the new model for raising private finance for infrastructure projects has been over a year in the making after the Mr Osborne put the previous scheme on hold, pending a Treasury review.
